• Skye (our Newfoundland, Bear N Mind Blue Skies at Water’s Edge) was awarded WB, BOW and BOS at the Laurel Highlands Kennel Club, Trumbull County Kennel Club, and New Castle Kennel Club shows. Skye was handled by Karen Mammano.

April

• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) was awarded a BOS, GCH points and her Grand Championship at the Harrisburg Kennel Club shows. Daisy was handled by Karen Mammano.
• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) was awarded a BOS, SELECT and GCH points at the Central New York Kennel Club, Onondaga Kennel Club, Finger Lakes Kennel Club and North Country Kennel Club shows. Daisy was handled by Karen Mammano.

• Meadow (Belquest Fields of Gold at Eagle Bay) went Winners Bitch at the Tullahoma Kennel Club, her first show. Meadow was handled by Rusty Howard.
• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) was awarded a BOS and GCH points at each of the Lancaster Kennel Club, York Kennel Club and Delaware County Kennel Club shows. Daisy was handled by Karen Mammano.

December

• Ashley (Belquest Ashley of Eagle Bay) and Spencer (Annual’s Nostalgic at Hilldreams) had seven beautiful yellow Labrador puppies on November 2nd.

July

• Skye (our Newfoundland, Bear N Mind Blue Skies at Water’s Edge) , a wonderful Newfy girl, comes to Water’s Edge from Bear N Mind. Skye’s sire, VN Ch. Bear N Mind’s The Guardian, Clancy, won Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February 2009.

May

October

• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) went Winners Bitch at the Labrador Retriever National Specialty! Daisy was handled by Jen Howard.
• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) won the highly competitive 12-18 AOAC class at the Labrador Retriever National Specialty. Daisy was handled by Jen Howard.
• Ashley (Belquest Ashley of Eagle Bay) was fourth in 6-9 month Puppy Bitches at the Labrador Retriever National Specialty. Ashley was handled by Rusty Howard.
• Ashley (Belquest Ashley of Eagle Bay) was second in 6-9 month Puppy Sweepstakes at the Labrador Retriever National Specialty. Ashley was handled by Rusty Howard.

September

• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) was Best of Winners both days and a new Champion at the Columbus Kennel Club show in Columbus, IN. Tristan was handled by Cathy Martin.

August

• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) went Winners Dog for his third Major win at the Northern Kentucky Kennel Club show in Lexington, KY. Tristan was handled by Cathy Martin.
• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) was Best of Winners at the Lexington Kennel Club show in Lexington, KY. Tristan was handled by Cathy Martin.
• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) took the Breed at the Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club show in Lexington, KY. Tristan was handled by Cathy Martin.

• Ashley (Belquest Ashley of Eagle Bay) joined the Labrador side of the kennel. We were so privileged to get another lovely girl from Vicky Creamer. Thank you, Vicky!

• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) took Winners Dog at the Louisville Kennel Club show in Louisville, KY, for his second Major.
• Water’s Edge Newfoundlands incorporates and becomes Water’s Edge Newfoundlands and Eagle Bay Labradors, LLC.

• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) was Best of Winners at the Tullahoma Kennel Club Show in Franklin, TN for his first Major. Tristan was handled by Laura King.

• Chloe (Three Ponds Blossoms at Water’s Edge) joined Water’s Edge Newfoundlands as our newest member.

2008

November

• Daisy (Belquest One Fine Day at Eagle Bay) joins the crew as our first show-quality Labrador Retriever. Thank you, Vicky Creamer, for this promising girl!

• Tristan (our Newfoundland, Top Shelf Water’s Edge True North) won 1st Place in the 9-12 months Dog class both days at the River King Regional Specialty in Springfield, IL. Tristan was handled by Cathy Martin.
